Golf with grandad

Friday and I was back at the old fella's for the morning as mummy had a new work thing to do. Baby Ollie went to Nanny Jan's and I went to grandad's. We've just got back from 'oliday but more on that later.
Nanny Vi popped over to see us and we had a little chat before grandad asked me if I wanted to play a game of golf. I've been enjoying some golf in recent weeks, watching the men and ladies get the ball in the 'ole then play a bit myself with my own clubs but this was something different - a proper game with grandad. We went into town and parked in the big upstairs car park and then grandad took me over to the big high up window where I could see the golf course, a racing track and of course, a big bouncy castle. The golf course was a dinosaur themed crazy golf game - two points that grandad is familiar with: dinosaurs (he grew up with most of them) and crazy golf (any golf grandad plays is crazy).
We paid the man some of grandad's well earned money and he gave me a little club, grandad a bigger version and offered us some golf balls. Grandad asked what colour I wanted and after asking for a blue one, he promptly gave me a pink one which I cherished as if my own. On the course there were lots of model dinosaurs but as I put my ball on the grass (its called teeing off), a big dinosaur made a huge roar and started to move. Now although I'm now long out of nappies, it has to be said that I found myself in the urgent need of one. I filled my cecks faster than Lewis Hamilton finishes behind that Rosberg geezer and ran off like Usian Bolt with the squirts!! Grandad caught up with me and assured me it was only a model and we returned to the golf.
It was brilliant, nine holes of jumps and rocks, corners and obstacles. I hammered grandad which apparently he's quite used to after his real golf on Thursday nights and then we returned to the car. We went back to Millie at home and grandad asked me if spaghetti bol was ok for dinner, I said yes and an egg. Grandad said that was an odd combination but I won and we both had spag bol with an egg on top. Hey, what goes in, comes out - as I noticed on the first tee earlier. After dinner, mummy told grandad that I could go home so we took Millie up the park for a run then we went back to mummy and Nanny Jan's and Papa Mole's.
What a great day, playing toys with grandad, chatting to Nanny Vi, my first game of golf and a walk in the park with Millie - oh, grandad lost his keys too!!!
I'll be back shortly with our 'oliday 'ouse tales....
